LIFE IN GOD THROUGH CHRIST JESUS

 1.  Seek God with your whole heart.

        Jeremiah 29:11-13

            11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

            12. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will harken unto you.

            13. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 33:3, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

2.  Look unto Jesus for everything.

Hebrews 12:2, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

        Jude 3, 20-21

            3. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

            20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

            21. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Romans 12:3, For I say through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealth to every man the measure of faith.

Matthews 6:33, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God must be first in our lives; not second, or third, if we want to have a life in Him.

"It is what it is"

Is it what it is? Or could it be: "It is what I see"?

For believers, let us consider what the word of God says.  Let's read and ponder on Daniel, Chapter 10-11.  There are things going on around us that we can't see unless God reveals them unto us.

Also, in II Kings 6:16-17, we see that Elisha saw more than what it appeared to be when he was surrounded by a great number of enemy soldiers.  "And he answered, Fear not; for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of Fire about Elisha."

Sometimes, it seems like there is no hope of coming out of our troubles.  But God...! Romans 8:31-32, say, "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

"It is what it is", Is it?

Think On This

Trouble is all around us! Why is there so much violence? Why is there so many people taking things in their own hands. Why is there no love among brothers and sisters, neighors, communities, nations, etc? These are things I believe that we all can see round about us. But what is working inside of us to cause us to be the way we are? May we consider what the scriptures says about us.

"They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes." (Romans 3:12-18).

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

"Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

Think on the scriptures written above. And I urge you to consider your way!

Your Search is Over!

JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life! You can not come to God without going through him (John 14:6). You don't need to search any longer! Come unto him and he will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30). Just believe in your heart and confess with your mouth (Romans 10:9-10).

You Can Have More!

I love ice cream! Don't give me just a little bit, I want at least four
to five scoops in a bowl. Why should I settle for a little bit of ice
cream when I can have more?

I love God more than I love ice cream! And I am filled with his Spirit.
The more I give myself to eating his word the more I enjoy Him. I began
to know and walk in God's love. I learn of God through his son Jesus
Christ.

Many still don't yet know and believe that the devil comes to steal, to
kill, and to destroy. They still believe that they are enjoying life, when
they are actually enjoying their way to death and hell. The devil has
blinded their minds because they refuse to believe the glorious gospel.

Believe the gospel and let the light of the gospel bring sight to your
mind. Then will you be able to see that you were being hood-winked and
used by the devil to aid in your destruction. Jesus came to give you
life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). You can have more in
Jesus Christ!

Just as Jesus did, we place our trust and confidence in the God who made us.
"...Have faith in God" (Mark 11:22).

Grow in the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

I Am Not Confused!

The world is a place of great confusion and great darkness! World leaders are
confused and confounded. They don't know what to do. So they do what men have
always done and expect it to work out. Everyone in the world are confused and
confounded. However, there is a people living in the world who are in the
light and are not confused.

Only born again believers of Jesus Christ who walk after the Spirit, and not
after the flesh are in the light and not confused. We are the body of Christ
and He is our head. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He is
never and can not be confused, because He knows all things. He is Jesus Christ,
the Son of God; the Word made flesh. "In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:1, 14).

Christians know that the only blessed nation and people is the ones whose God is
the Lord. This nation, our people, and most all of the nations and people of the
world gods are not the Lord God Almighty. Therefore, they remain confused and
lost and in darkness. They rely upon their gods who can not help them. They will
utterly destroy themselves if they don't turn to the One and Only God!

"Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me (John 14:6). So, if you are tired are being confused and
in darkness you can come unto Jesus. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus said, "Come unto
me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke
upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find
rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Come out of the world, come out of darkness, come out of confusion; and come
unto Jesus!
